Kevin Ceccon jumps back into the TCR World Ranking top 15

After returning to touring car racing in Vallelunga, Kevin Ceccon gained back some positions in the TCR World Ranking, based on each driver’s best results collected during the last 12 months in the national and international touring car championships. The driver from Bergamo, who hadn’t raced in an official TCR weekend since the third round of the 2022 Italian championship, came back on track on the Piero Taruffi circuit for the TCR Festival, an event that saw the protagonists of the TCR World Tour battle with the TCR Italy drivers.

Ceccon behaved well during the weekend: the driver from Bergamo, racing with Aggressive Team Italia, brought his Hyundai Elantra N in the points zone during both races. This allowed him to finish the weekend third in the TCR Italian Festival, proving his competitiveness despite the long stop in the touring car racing world. Ceccon was able to move up in the world ranking to 15th, gaining as many as eleven positions.
